Ginger Honey Simple Syrup
Ginger simple syrup is a handy ingredient to have in your fridge. It is easy to make, lasts a ling time and the perfect enhancer or twist to your beverage, alcoholic or not.
Traditional Simple Syrup is made with sugar and water. I’m not a fan of sugar (click here to read why) so I use honey instead and kick it up a notch with fresh ginger.
Some way to use it in non-alcoholic beverages:
Ginger ale (simply add sparkling or carbonated water)
The above plus lime juice and mint for a refreshing twist.
Mocktail version on Blueberry Lemon Rita (just omit the alcohol)
A twist on lemonade by mixing with fresh lemon juice.
Trader Joe’s lemon ginger sparkling water (sparkling water and a splash of lemon juice)
Enhance your tea
Now when it comes to cocktails:
Blueberry Lemon Rita - possible my favorite way to enjoy this simple syrup
Moscow Mule - add vodka or tequila, sparkling water and lemon
Add tequila, Topo Chico and a squeeze of lime
What would you make with this ginger infused simple syrup? Please let me know below and maybe I’ll feature your recipe!
I hope you enjoy this as much as I do!

Note - If you don’t have Topo Chico you can use club soda but I am sorry… you are missing out.
