Why Mind Body Spirit RElease?
When we experience a significant event or trauma, consciously or subconsciously, the body produces a combination of beliefs, emotions, and energy that can be stored or imprinted within the cells of our body. The body remembers this combination and can release it again when presented with a trigger. This trigger creates either a positive or a negative experience, like a smell can trigger feelings and emotions associated with a person or place. This is why 2 people may experience the same thing but have 2 very different reactions.
Most of these emotions get stored deep within the subconscious. Our conscious mind is responsible for 5% of all brain activity while the subconscious mind is responsible for the other 95%. We usually have no idea that these emotions and imprints even exist; yet they continue to direct how we live our life and control our behavior. Some imprints are negative and considered blocks that can hold us back from our goals and intentions in life. It is important to release these blocks from the body, mind and spirit so we can move forward in reaching our goals.
How does it work?
We start by identifying and intention or goal that you would like to achieve (example “Vibrantly Healthy and Strong”) and then identify the cellular blocks that are holding you back from that intention, whether you are consciously aware of them or not. We are able to access specific imprints by tapping into your subconscious mind through Muscle Testing and/or Ideomotor Response (pendulum) Testing. This allows us to determine a grouping of emotions, limiting beliefs, hormones, body systems, etc. that your body has stored and are blocking you from your goals. Once the blocks are identified, we are able to clear them from the body so that they no longer cause stress and no longer trigger the body.
An example would be Anger: After a MBSR session, you may still experience anger at times or be around someone that is angry but you will no longer feel fired up inside; rather, you can stay calm, and even peaceful, in the presence of anger. Allowing you to act versus react to the situation.
What to expect
The session begins with the client and MBSR™ practitioner identifying your intention. The practitioner will identify the blocks holing you back from that intention.Once blocks are identified, the practitioner stimulates your nervous system through cold light therapy on acupressure reflex points to help calm the nervous system in the presence of these blocks. Calming the nervous system helps the subconscious mind release the blocks so they no longer cause stress to the body; allowing you to move forward with a sense of peace and calm working more easily to your goals.
At the end of the session, you will be given some homework to help solidify the shifts and the clearing. Sessions are generally 60 to 90 minutes and recommended every 1-3 weeks until you feel like you have manifested your intention to your satisfaction. Like peeling back an artichoke until you have reached the heart; each additional session around a specific intention, is pulling back more and deeper layers that are holding you back.
MBSR™ is very individualized and each person processes through the clearing differently. Some people immediately feel like a weight is lifted and very relaxed, while a small number go through a detox as the body releases stored physical and emotional energies.
