Breakfast Sausage
Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground pork or chicken
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 1 tsp dried sage
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- avocado oil or refined coconut oil for cooking
Instructions:
How to cook Breakfast Sausage
- In a mixing bowl, mix all of the ingredients together and form into patties about the size of your palm.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat and add cooking oil or fat of choice.
- Cook sausage patties for 4-5 minutes, flip and cook for another 4-5 minutes. You may need to cook these in batches.
- Once sausage is done, place them on a paper towel lined plate to drain.
Notes:
These freeze well! Defrost in the fridge the night before and heat in a skillet or microwave. Or pull them straight out of the freezer and heat in the microwave for 1 min.
